What does EVS mean for Falanster and for volunteers?

Tue, 11/29/2016 - 13:15

On the 19th of October 2016 Falanster got accreditation for EVS partnership from Erasmus+ program.

What does it mean for our activity?

Firat of all we can receive volunteers from EU countries and send Belarusian volunteers to the different European projects. This means that we'll extend geek exchange between Belarus and other European countries. On the other hand, we'll launch a stable relation between Falanster and similar foreign organizations.

For today we can welcome 2 volunteers according to our organization size, but send any number of people in exchange.

How we'll be working in this direction?

We welcome:

  • First of all we search for foreign organizations, which work with digital technologies and society, then we arrenge a collaboration.
  • When our viewpoint is similar, we ask for the kind volunteers we need.
  • When the organization findes a volunteer needed, we communicate with the candidate/s.
  • At thia stage we work out a specific program for each candidate.

We send volunteer in a related way, but firstly, you need to successfully volunteer(or internship) in Falanster. After the local volunteering we chose the most dilligent and productive person as a candidate. EVS accreditation is active at least till 2019. More info Falanster project - ЕVS.
